He has also performed Non-Coronary Interventions, including more than 100 Balloon Valvotomies and 50 Permanent Pacemaker implantations, and other procedures such as Device closure for Congenital Heart Disease, IVC Filter insertion, and Renal Angioplasties. Sharma has performed more than 5000 Angioplasty-Stenting procedures and more than 12,000 Coronary Angiography and other Percutaneous Interventions these include Complex Coronary Interventions such as Chronic Total Occlusions, Ostial lesions, Left Main Disease, Bifurcation lesion, Bypass Grafts and use of special intervention devices like the Rotablator. He is one of the few Indian Cardiologists to have completed an Advanced Fellowship in Complex Angioplasty from Italy.ĭr.
